PREPARING FOR A WORLD WITHOUT BORDERS
Our international program is aimed at young people between 12 and 25 years old who want to study a year at a school in Spain – from the educational group Institució Familiar d’Educació – or carry out university studies both online and blended and who are interested in doing a complete immersion in a Spanish family.
“Institució” is an educational group that currently consists of eight schools in Catalonia and the Balearic Islands, bringing together over 5,000 families and 700 professionals who serve approximately 8,000 students. It represents an innovative vision of education based on Christian humanism and personalized education.

Questions & Answers
Program staff are available to provide support and supervision to students 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Safety and well-being: Students have access to supervision and support in emergency situations or health problems at any time.
- Academic and emotional support: If students are facing academic difficulties, need advice, or have a personal concern, there will always be someone available to help them.
- Personal tutor: Each student will have a personal tutor who will accompany them during their stay with us and will be available 24/7.
This level of care ensures that students are safe, cared for and supported at all times during their international program experience.
Participants can follow two official programs: Spanish Secondary Education (in English or Spanish) or American High School diploma so validations are easy to deal with. Participants will have no problem to continue their studies upon arrival or departure.
The type of accommodation in academic programs – school year and tailor-made stays – are always carried out in a Spanish family with children studying in the same school. As these are minors, it facilitates the integration of the pupil and his or her adaptation to the new environment.
On the other hand, there are two possibilities in the sports programm: to stay with a Spanish family from the school or in the form of residence with other players and students.
There are various program modalities. The entire school year lasts for 10 months, from September to June. However, it is also possible to have a shorter stay of 1 to 9 months.
The success of such an academic program is based on three factors: rapid student integration, acquisition of the basic notions of language in a short period of time and constant support at academic and social level.
Each student will have a personal tutor who will follow the student’s academic and social evolution and communicate with the family. In addition, they will receive Spanish classes every day.
